Kaziranga National Park
Kaziranga National Park is situated in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of Assam and was established on August 25, 1905. The major attraction of the park is the one-horned rhinos; they are nowhere else in the world except here.
Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary
Pobitora wildlife sanctuary is in the Goalpara district of Assam. It was established in 1985 and covers an area of 213 km². The major attraction of this park is the great hornbill bird which can be saw here only. The number of hornbill birds has a estimate of around 500. It is also home to other species like the Golden langur, Indian Roller and the Great Indian hornbill.
Majuli is situated in East Bengal and was established in 1983. It covers an area of 715km² and can be reach from Guwahati through a ferry service. Nameri National Park
